I was on holidays since Thursday 19th and this Friday I woke up with a massive sore throat. Nothing wrong so far cause I've been partying the night before and this shit can happen. But I felt worse and worse by the hour and I could move or eat anything by Saturday. I was getting really really sick. Couldn't find a doctor anywhere, had to call the emergency so they can give me the number of doctor working on a Saturday. Awful! Don't get me wrong, I love France but it is definitely not a country of services!
Anyway, that doctor arrived 45 minutes after my room mate called him. And he gave me some pills, did a puncture, gave me a prescription for 7 days, told me that I had a laryngitis, took me 53€ and left. He was a bit weird, looked like a crazy doctor and was walking a bit funny but after all, he knew what he was doing and I feel much better now. Hopefully I'll be able to go back to work on Monday.

te plains pas, on a le meilleur régime de sécurité social au monde! tu devrais regarder le documentaire "Sicko" de Mickael Moore et là tu te diras: on a trop de la chance en France! Mon oncle aux usa a payé 2000 dollars juste pour consulter un medecin un dimanche...
