Home Sweet Home

My new inspiration for my bedroom. And yes, I'm still working on it. I'm obsessed with the gym at the moment and it's taking all my energy. Although this weekend is going to be all about me and my home.

I completely screwed up with my room. I've bought the Ikea Malm bed but in 140cm and the storage on the back in 160cm large. I'm not sure that it's going to work out well so I don't know if I should buy it or not. Any advice?

I was thinking about putting up shelves and paintings. I have a 19th century framed map of Stockholm and a beautiful cover of a Swedish magasine in aquarel, it's simply beautiful!! I'm going to put these two up.

What's that box?

This is a the Campbell's Tomato Soup Can from Andy Warhol. I have that picture in my kitchen and my dad just loves it. This morning while we were having breakfast he said something like: "I like that thing, it has something really special to it. It represent a whole generation." Dad was actually right even thou he doesn't know much about pop art and all that Warhol movement that came to emmerge after his death.

Next step, Lieschtenstein! I don't if he'll like it but I know I will.
Maybe I should buy him a book about Pop Art.

Tweedy

What can we possibly need by this time of crisis?
Something comforting, something that last for decades, something we wear over and over again, something BASIC!
And after Tartan, what else can be better than Tweed.

Tweed has been around for ages now and it is a long-lasting fabric. So this winter's fabric is Tweed. The Country Life style with the green Hunter rubber boots. Barbour, Thomas Burberry and Kettner all the way!
